Uku Apartments
Finished in late 2018 by Haydn & Rollett after a 20-month build, this apartment building is the tallest at Hobsonville Point.
About the Project
Its striking appearance is not just due to its height. Designed by Context Architects, it features a brick facade with 93,000 red, white, and grey bricks, all meticulously laid by hand. This was undoubtedly a highly labor-intensive project.
Containing 56 apartments to suit a mixed clientele, this building can be found surrounded by laneways, green spaces, cafes and a school.
